The sun always shines on the magnificent bays of the Savona Province that offers breathtaking views, culture, history, sport, tourism, and green valleys of the hinterland.
Andora leads you to the entrance of the Merula Valley that has very ancient origins and its urban structure makes it difficult to notice its history and the 16th century embattled tower.
Nearby there is also the Castle, Palazzo and the Church of St. Giacomo and St. Filippo that make up the typical Medieval monuments. They are surrounded by peach orchards and olive groves which offers a beautiful scenery that has been enriched by the Roman Bridge and an awesome 14th century fountain.
While enjoying the perfume of mimosas you can reach the seaside resort of Laiguelia that has a prosperous olive oil and wine business. The town is defended by a 16th century embattled tower and very interesting to visit is the Baroque Parish Church of St. Matteo.
The nearby town of Colle Micheri still has its rustic environment and it offers panoramic paths.
Then there’s Alassio which is an important and famous seaside resort that offers large sandy beaches and it dates back to the year 1000 as a Benedictine feud of the Gallinara Island.
Today it is a charming and well-know place, it is the home of the tourist port, and it has many international manifestations such as the famous Muretto.
Thanks to the small city’s fantastic climate it offers pleasing vacations at any time of the year.
