In the territory of the Borbera and Spinti Valleys the environment is very rich.
Once forest trees dominated the land but today its landscape is different.
The communities that lead to Cantalupo Ligure offer enchanting sceneries: the “Straits of Pertuso and the Grand Canyon caused by the Borbera Torrent.
You can admire ravines, precipices, gullies, and cliffs that have been formed throughout the centuries.
Always in the “Straits of Pertuso” a plaque has been placed in memory of the events of the Resistance and it is located at Ponte del Carmine and a stele the “Stele of Pertuso” by Nicola Neonato “Pollaiolo” dedicated to the partisan division “Pian-Cichero.”
