How to get there: Highway A12 Genoa-La Spezia exit at Sarzana and continue along the State Route 331 towards Lerici and turn at Fiascherino and then Tellaro.
It is the last town located at the far East of the La Spezia Gulf and it is one of the most picturesque towns of the Ligurian Region.
Its small square makes it a unique place and walking along the narrow alleys you can reach the sea and here you will discover the magic of Tellaro.
The ancient town is still intact in its original form from its streets to its archivolts and its homes that are beautifully built next to each other.
Its Ligurian church watches the sea and it is impossible to reach. In fact it was used as a shelter to protect its inhabitants from Saracen raids that devastated the territories.
The director Mario Soldati loved Tellaro and in fact in some of his best works Tellaro is mentioned.
The Church is very picturesque and it faces the rocky spur. Its construction only increases the beauty of this enchanting place and neat Tellaro there is Fiascherino, another heavenly spot.
It is located in a silent harbor that has welcoming beaches among rocks and it has a magnificent Mediterranean vegetation which makes it a favorite for VIP’s, artist, and politicians.
It is a true poetic area from the Gulf of St. Terenzo to the hills of Monte Marcello that has a fantastic view.
