St Gerolamo Oratory |
The St. Gerolamo Oratory, today transformed in the “Impavidi” Theatre, was built by St. Gerolamo’s Confraternity, near by Monastery of Dominican friars.
At the beginning this structure was much more simple, very different from the octagonal structure we can admire today. |
|
The enlargement and restructuring of this building were opened near by 1700.
Transformations were bring, both to structure (the actual octagonal design) than to the elliptic vault, which was enriched by frescos and a splendid Glory of God.
