It has two arches made out of local stones during the late Medieval period.
The bridge crosses the Pentemina torrent just before it meets with the Laccio torrent where Scrivia begins.
It is one of the few bridges that has resisted the destruction of man. |

It was also part of the valley bottom route as said by the Imperial Feuds because it marked the boundary between the territory of the Republic of Genoa and the feudatory’s that were loyal to the Empire. Very interesting and worth visiting is the Val Pentemia that is rich in vista points as well as old communities. For those who love to fish the torrent offers many possibilities due to its rich quantity of fish.
