The St. Antonio Abate Oratory
Via De Negri is surrounded by homes that have a faint trace of the picturesque decorations and from here you can reach the churchyard, which provides shade thanks to the large chestnut trees. On your left hand side you will notice a massive and elongated form of the St. Antonio Abate Oratory.
It was idealized and promoted by Domenico of Davadola and the archpriest of Casella who placed the first stone on May 11, 1556. The inside of the oratory is slightly bare except for its magnificent terra cotta floor and the chestnut pews where the brothers would sit to pray or discuss charitable works.
