The Picasso foundry |
| In Avegno, as early as 1594, the Picasso family produced bells of high quality for use in church bell towers. Every piece produced is the result much time and precise effort. A sole error in the fusion of the bronze has the potential of negatively affecting the outcome, a famous example of this is the cracked Liberty bell in Philadelphia. |

The bell work follows a four-hundred year old method that the Picasso family still employs today in producing the resulting masterpieces. The Picasso foundry is of particular note to many scholars, who often visit to study and admire the ancient technical process that has much historical and archaeological value.
